## Description
Undertook intensive self-directed learning in modern web development technologies during the WordPlayer project development period (January-February 2026). With only basic theoretical knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I systematically learned full-stack web development through hands-on practice, transforming from a backend-focused programmer into a capable full-stack developer within weeks.
Learned and applied frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for building responsive user interfaces. Mastered backend development using Node.js and Express framework for server-side logic and API design. Gained practical experience with database management, implementing both local storage solutions and cloud-based database systems with complex relational schemas.
Explored AI-assisted coding practices as a learning methodology, discovering how to effectively communicate technical requirements, debug AI-generated code, and leverage AI tools while maintaining code ownership and understanding. This approach significantly accelerated my learning curve while ensuring I understood the underlying principles rather than blindly copying code.
Learned production deployment workflows including domain registration and DNS configuration, SSL certificate installation and HTTPS setup, reverse proxy configuration using Nginx, process management for maintaining server uptime, and cloud server administration. This hands-on experience with DevOps practices gave me comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle from local development to production deployment.
Adopted version control practices using Git and GitHub for the first time, transitioning from manual backup methods to professional collaborative development workflows. Learned branching strategies, commit management, and how to recover from mistakes using version control.
This intensive learning period demonstrated my ability to rapidly acquire new technical skills under project-driven motivation. The experience taught me how to learn efficiently by building real projects rather than following passive tutorials, and how to synthesize knowledge from multiple sources (documentation, AI assistance, online resources) into practical understanding.
