## Description
While studying Computer Science pseudocode for the CIE 0478 Design course in early 2024, I encountered significant frustration writing pseudocode in Word documents and unsuitable editing environments—the experience was inconvenient for both writing and reading code. Recognizing that no appropriate editor existed for Cambridge’s specific pseudocode syntax, I developed my own custom editing tool in Sublime Text over a 1-2 week period.
The editor features auto-completion functionality to accelerate coding and reduce syntax errors, along with pretty print capabilities that format pseudocode for improved readability and presentation. These features transformed my coursework experience, making it far more convenient to write, read, and review pseudocode for assignments and exam preparation. My teacher recognized the tool’s value and approved its use in class.

When I advanced to A Level and began studying the 9618 Computer Science course in 2025, I updated the editor to support the more advanced pseudocode requirements of the higher-level curriculum. This version upgrade demonstrated my ability to maintain and evolve software tools as requirements changed. The editor has become a stable, reliable tool that addresses a real educational need—providing a proper development environment for pseudocode that was previously only awkwardly handled in word processors.
