## Description

Organized and led a peer study group of 4 classmates during Year 11 Computer Science course to support each other’s learning through collaborative teaching. Identified students who would benefit from additional support and brought the group together for regular study sessions in the school study room.

Took primary responsibility for teaching the majority of topics, while coordinating with one classmate who served as my teaching assistant. Together, we guided two other students who needed more support with the course material. Developed a comprehensive teaching syllabus and learning schedule to ensure systematic coverage of all exam topics, breaking down complex Computer Science concepts into digestible lessons.

Implemented a rotating teaching system where different group members took turns presenting topics, fostering active learning and ensuring everyone developed confidence in explaining technical concepts. This approach transformed passive learners into active participants who could articulate their understanding.

Maintained consistent momentum by organizing at least one intensive study session per month outside regular class time. Created a relaxed yet motivating learning atmosphere that made challenging material more accessible and kept everyone engaged throughout the academic year.

The collaborative approach proved highly effective: all group members achieved Grade A or above in the IGCSE Computer Science examination. This experience demonstrated that peer teaching not only helps others learn but also deepens the teacher’s own understanding, while developing leadership and communication skills essential for academic and professional success.
